Virtual Welding Minnewaska students get welding  experience without actually welding

At Minnewaska Area High School, students in the welding class get to practice welding without actually welding.
Steve Anderson, welder at WASP, Inc., brought in a Virtual Welding machine to help students improve their welding skills. The main advantage in virtual welding is that the machine allows students to see the grade of the weld, how they should fix their angle, how far or close they were to the metal, how their bead placement was, and what their average score was for the weld.  read entire story. . . .
