Marthaler Field dedication weekend was a cool event

The temperatures for Marthaler Field dedication weekend were definitely not summerish. Blankets, hoodies, and hot chocolate were in abundance on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the event, like the temperatures, was very cool.

Friday featured free Minnesota Twins youth baseball clinics for ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. There were intersquad baseball games for players under 12 and games against Sauk Centre and BBE for the 13U and 14U teams. Both Minnewaska teams were victorious on Friday, which was capped off with a showing of the adorable baseball movie Sandlot on Friday night.  read entire story. . . .
