Lakers win WCC baseball title

On the third try the Lakers and Falcons were able to play their baseball game. Originally scheduled for May 14, then May 16, on Monday the two teams endured temperatures in the mid 30s and 20-30 mph winds.

Matt McIver took the hill for Minnewaska and tossed a complete game, surrendering just four hits and one run. A two-out triple in the sixth inning plated the Falcons’ only run of the game.  read entire story. . . .
