Lakers have success at state tournament

The Minnewaska girls’ tennis team took to the courts on Tuesday in Minneapolis, competing in the state tournament as the Section 6A team champion.  
Minnewaska’s first round opponent was Virginia High School. Makenna Hanson won in singles, and the doubles team of Annika Pederson and Joelle Thorfinnson won, securing two points for the Lakers, but the Lakers fell by a 5-2 final score. Lakers rally past Sauk Centre before BOLD ends season
