Easter egg hunt at GLSP set for April 15
Come join the fun this year at the 8th annual Easter Egg Hunt presented by Friends of Glacial Lakes State Park. The egg hunt will start promptly at 2 p.m. There will be games and activities at the Group Camp Shelter before and after the egg hunt. Activities start at 12:30 p.m. and run until 3 p.m.
Children will be divided into two groups for the egg hunt this year: Pre-school and grades K-3. Grades 4-6 will have a separate challenge to complete to earn candy and a chance at other prizes. Some eggs will contain prize slips. Hot cocoa and treats will be served at the Group Camp Shelter after the egg hunt. Last year 3,000 eggs were hidden. Make sure to arrive early to get a park permit ($5 day, $25 annual) and walk to the egg hunt site.
